With Glowing Hearts
Another busy day in Vancouver. Attended the Russia-Czech Republic game, which was a pretty entertaining match. It was also pretty cool watching it from the Globe box which was high above the ice (see flickr page for photos). Then we met up with an old friend for some drinks at The Railway Car where we also watched the Canada-USA game. We were a little worried about the mood of the crowd afterwards, but everything seemed to be okay. Returned to our hotel for a late supper – we had not eaten since breakfast – and then watched the Canada-China curling match before falling asleep. Today we are back to the Globe box for the first women’s hockey semi-final game and then over to the Hockey House for the second.
